QA Tester – Little Rock, AR

Our client in Little Rock, Arkansas is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to be responsible for designing and executing a variety of test cases to ensure quality and performance of a cloud-based system. This position is a 7-month contract to start with possible extensions and will need to be done onsite in Little Rock, AR.

JOB DUTIES:

– Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.

– Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software.

– Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and manual testing using Postman.

– Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

– Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.

– Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.

– Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.

– Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications.

– Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk.

– Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy.

– Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality.
