IT Service Center Specialist
Washington, DCOur direct client in DC NW is looking for an IT Service Center Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience providing Tier II desktop/laptop, software, and networking support over the phone, chat, email, remote, as well as in person. Candidates should have experience with IP networking, Active Directory, MS Windows, MS Outlook, LAN/WAN, software/hardware installation, workstation set up, as well as working with a ticketing system. This is a great long-term opportunity (12 months with potential for extensions) and requires on-site work.

Required:
– Professional demeanor, strong customer relations skills.
– Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
– Basic understanding of IP networking concepts, troubleshooting and diagnostics.
– Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
– Basic understanding of web technologies and components.
– Intermediate knowledge of MS Windows, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, and MS Office applications.
– Intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and remote access technologies.
