Data Analyst III
Cleveland, OHOur F100 client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their cloud organization on a 6-month contract with the possibility for conversion. You would be working closely with a Product Owner, Cloud Engineer, and Data Engineer to understand reporting requirements in order to build dashboards and models for analyzing and forecasting cloud spend (AWS and Azure). A background of working in cloud spend analysis (or, more generally, financial analysis or financial forecasting) will be highly important. They’re looking for someone who has experience using Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, and Splunk (this would be preferred). This is a fully remote opening (within the US) that would follow an EST schedule (8:30am – 5:00pm ET). Apply today!
Responsibilities:
– Work with a Cloud engineer and create special reports and dashboards that show what the financial performance is regarding spending trends and forecasts that will be shared with senior leadership.
– Communicate the findings of the analysis and to tell the story of the data.
– Conduct regular audits to be sure the practices are being followed
– Look at data to see if people are following the best practices.
– Collaborate across teams to articulate optimization and the where the opportunities are to provide savings
Required:
– Strong data manipulation and end user visualization skills; proficient with a variety of analytical tools and languages (SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
– Experience in creating financial models
– SQL experience
– Python
– Tableau experience

– Proven aptitude for learning and using data analysis reporting tools
– Good communication skills, both verbal and written
